Room 2,
NBC.
Dear Miss Pownall,
I believe that we should have a dog in Room 2. They help with your mental health, they are a stress tool and they are loving.
Firstly, dogs help you're mental health, studies have shown that we won't make as much noise because we do not want to scare the dog and they are CUTE! They will make everyone feel protected. We will get fresh air because we can walk the dog and we will get time away from school.
Secondly, they are a stress tool. Studies have shown that paying with or petting an animal
can increase levels of the stress-reducing hormone Oxycontin and
decrease production of the stress hormone cortisol. These hormonal changes can help a nervous
child feel more relaxed about reading aloud. Reduced stress can also benefit physical
health. Every 5 pets on a dog will increase your happiness.
Finally, they are loving. Most of them do not bite they like getting pats and they lick you. My dog lies on
me, thats how he shows me love.
In conclusion, we should have a dog in room two. It is obvious that we should have a dog in
Room 2. This is because they
will help with your mental health,
be a stress tool and they are loving.
Yours sincerely,
Isaac
